James Millar

As a qualified Architect James has gained diverse and widespread experience in both residential and commercial projects throughout the UK.

Having graduated from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen and Westminster University, London, James joined Archial Group, a multi-award winning, international practice where he focused on large scale commercial projects such as hotels, schools, offices and college master planning for clients including Local Authorities and the Ministry of Defence.

In 2010, James joined a niche London based residential practice, to pursue his interest in contemporary design and modern architecture. He worked on a number of high-end residential projects specialising in the refurbishment and renovation of houses of varying scales, primarily focusing on subterranean developments in and around central London. With the experience and knowledge gained, James went on to form JAAM Architects in 2013.
